COSTS
How much does embroidery cost?
Charges depend on the number of pieces being embroidered, the number of stitches to complete each piece, the number of color changes, location of embroidery, how rushed is the finish date plus many other factors. Common charges and fees associated with embroidery include: digitizing, set-up, hooping and rush completion dates. Detailed quotes will quickly follow contact with your sales rep.

What are your payment terms?
We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. With credit card payment, full remittance is made at time of order. Adjustments, if necessary, are made at time of completion and shipping. For cash or check purchases, we require deposit equal to 50% of the estimated total. The balance is due on completion and shipping. We do not accept COD orders. Open account status (Net 30 payment terms) is granted to those who meet our credit requirements.
Can anyone obtain my credit information from your website?
NO. All credit card information is taken over the phone or from a faxed order form. No information is stored on our website.
FEES & CHARGES
What is digitizing and how am I charged for it?
Digitizing is the process of re-formatting the client’s original artwork and converting that into a file which the embroidery machine can read and “work” with. Embroidery charges are $10.00 per 1000 stitches with a minimum charge of $ 45.00. If we have your logo and it needs to be modified, the cost is $ 40.00. Script-only logos have a $25.00 keyboard set-up fee. On larger orders, we waive the digitizing fee. For example, a Left Chest embroidery order over $500.00 will not carry a digitizing fee.
What is a set-up fee?
A set-up fee covers the cost of our time involved to prepare our various manufacturing operations for a simple embroidery job. No two jobs are the same. Thus changing from one project to another requires significant labor. Such fees are waived for embroidery runs of 24 identical pieces or more.
Setting up a 12 or 15 head embroidery machine – loading in logos, making thread changes, etc – takes time. The same amount of time is expended setting up a process for 1 run of making 6 pieces as it takes to set the machine up for 100 runs of 12 pieces each.
What is a rush charge?
A rush charge is assessed when we have to interrupt our production schedule to meet a client’s last-minute demands. Responding to “must-have-it-now” demands may involve overtime labor costs. Rush charges are calculated on an individual project basis with the client being offered the final choice before such a process begins.
What is a hooping charge?
Flyin’ R does not charge this fee. Other companies may do so. Typically, this charge covers the cost of putting the garment into a “hoop” material-holding device that allows the machine to most accurately sew your design. A common hooping charge is $4.50 and covers the first 3000 stitches cost.
If I want to add names to a shirt, what is that cost?
No problem. We assess a per piece charge. Typically this is done in SCRIPT, BLOCK or ITALIC. We charge $3.00 for the first name only. $4.00 is the fee for applying both first and last names.
What is your Freight Policy?
All products shipped from our El Paso, TX, dock are FOB El Paso, TX, unless otherwise specified at order acceptance. Prepaid Freight can be arranged, by written agreement prior to shipment, but that cost will be added to the client’s invoice. |

MODIFICATION OF THESE TERMS, CONDITIONS & NOTICES
Ruddock Manufacturing, Inc. reserves the right to change the Terms, Conditions and Notices under which this website is offered and you agree to accept and be bound by those Terms, Conditions and Notices that are in effect at the time of your use of Ruddock Manufacturing’s website and facilities.
GENERAL
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts in El Paso County, Texas, USA, in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of this website. Use of this website is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these Terms, Conditions and Notices, including, without limitation, this paragraph.
You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment or agency relationship exists between you and Ruddock Manufacturing, Inc. (dba Flyin’ R Wearables) as a result of this agreement of use of this website.
Ruddock Manufacturing, Inc.’s performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of Ruddock Manufacturing, Inc.’s right to comply with law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of this website or information provided to or gathered by Ruddock Manufacturing, Inc. with respect to such use.
If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and; liability limitations set forth above. Then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and agreement shall continue in effect.
This agreement (and any other Terms and Conditions referenced herein) constitutes the entire agreement between the visitor/customer/client and Ruddock Manufacturing, Inc. (dba Flyin’ R Wearables) with respect to this website and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between the visitor/customer/client and Ruddock Manufacturing, Inc. with respect to this website. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form.
